Davidse latest to shine for Gary Player Class of 2017

The rise of the Gary Player Class of 2017 golfers continued at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club on Friday.

Keenan Davidse worked his way into contention with a round of 68 on the West Course, which lifted him to eight under par going into the weekend. This followed his bogey-free 67 on the East Course in the first round.

It takes him into the weekend as the latest player of the Gary Player Class of 2017 to step into the spotlight of a Sunshine Tour event.

Makhetha Mazibuko inspired many of his fellow Gary Player Class of 2017 players with his incredible performance in the Eye of Africa PGA Championship, where he lost in a playoff.
